Shipping & Installation Policy

At Smart Buy Appliances & Electronics, we are dedicated to ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers, starting from the moment an order is placed to the delivery at your doorstep. 


We take great care in packaging our products to ensure they arrive in pristine condition, ready to be enjoyed in your home. Our transparent approach to shipping & installation costs means that you will always be aware of any associated fees before making a purchase.


Delivery scheduling by our Customer Service team:

  • All customers are contacted within 48 hrs of receiving their order

  • Customers are offered a weekday or weekend option

  • Customers are then contacted the day before scheduled delivery with their 4 hr time window

At customer's home:

  • Our delivery & installation team is provided with smartphones to track your deliveries and reduce customers’ calls with automatic real- time notifications when their orders are delivered using the Detrack System

  • A full walk through of customers’ home is performed to ensure the best path for the merchandise to enter the home

  • Place delivery items in desired location requested by the customer

  • Light assembly, fridge door handles, etc

  • Packaging and debris are taken away from the home (major appliances only- fridge, range, washer, dryer, laundry tower. We do not unpack built in items cooktops, micro, dishwashers, rangehoods, etc.)

  • Our professional team provides in-home installation services 

Return & Exchange Policy

Smart Buy understands the importance of customer satisfaction and aim to make the return & exchange process as simple and convenient as possible for you. Whether it's a product exchange or a refund, we are here to assist you every step of the way. Our commitment to your satisfaction extends beyond the point of purchase, and we strive to build lasting relationships with our customers.

Brand-New Products

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 7 days of your in-store purchase or delivery date, provided the item remains unopened in its original packaging. Some exclusions may apply based on specific models or promotional offers.

No returns or exchanges will be accepted on used or installed products.

To qualify for a return or exchange:

  • Contact Smart Buy within 7 days of receiving the product

  • Provide the original purchase receipt

  • Ensure the product is in original condition, with all packaging, accessories, and manuals included

  • All products will be professionally inspected by a technician prior to approval

  • A 10% restocking fee will apply for any product that does not meet return standards

 

Authorized returns may be dropped off at our store at no extra charge. If Smart Buy arranges product pickup, an additional retrieval fee may apply.

Open-Box / Scratch & Dent Products

All sales are final unless the product is defective or damaged by Smart Buy.

To qualify for a return or exchange:

  • Contact Smart Buy within 7 days of receipt

  • Present your original purchase receipt

  • The product must be returned in its original condition with all included accessories and packaging

  • The product will be professionally inspected by a technician prior to approval

  • A 10% restocking fee will apply for products deemed ineligible for return

 

Authorized returns may be dropped off at our store at no extra charge. Retrieval by Smart Buy will incur an additional fee if required.
